I am offering counseling services to persons who desire a fresh approach to their difficulties with stress, addiction, mood swings, nervousness, and other related symptoms of thought and feeling complexes that interfere with living a meaning filled life.
It is my belief that much of our suffering is rooted in old patterns of thinking and feeling that cause us to repeat old patterns of behavior until we figure out what we want and how to obtain it. Listening, empathy, and receptive presence are three tools that help people to discover what is most important to them and what is blocking the changes that are attempting to emerge in their lives. Often it is when the person hears themselves speak their perspective that they gain insight into what is most likely to help them heal. I have worked for the past twenty years with adults of all ages as a pastoral counselor and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in West Central Ohio to help persons discover their path to increased satisfaction, contentment, and well-being.
